Cyclocross Magazine came to Madison’s 2012 Cyclocross National Championships and worked hard to bring you coverage of every single race at the event, the only media company to accomplish such a feat. Most times we brought you a number of great photos and video interviews as well as our race report and results, but for a few races on the packed days, we still have a bunch of unpublished great photos of the racing action and some key moments. The Masters Men 45-49 race is one such race, and the 9 a.m. morning light and a number of legendary hard men of the sport lent to some great imagery.

Don Myrah’s (Ibis /Buy Cell) lap one lead over Jon Cariveau (Moots) was never secure until the last lap, and there were plenty of big names chasing those two.  Read the full Masters 45-49 race report and full results, and also see Brian Nelson’s Day 4 stunning photo gallery that includes this race.
